Bio
Leo Silverstein was born in
Brooklyn, New York in 1930. He was a member of the staff of
the Army Audit Agency of the United States Army from 1954 through
1956. He served on the staff of the Securities and Exchange
Commission as a corporate finance attorney from 1956 through
1959. Leo joined the law firm of Borden & Ball in 1959,
in which he was a partner from 1961 until 1977, when he joined
the firm of Sage Gray Todd & Sims and was a partner until
1984. From 1984 to 1995 he was a partner at Carter, Ledyard & Milburn. In 1995, Leo co-founded
our firm.
Leos practice focuses
on equity and debt financing, both registered public offerings
and private placements, mergers and acquisitions, equity
investments
and general corporate representation.
He was Chairman of the Committee
of Securities & Exchange of the New York County Lawyers
Association from 1992 through 1996.
